Repent Revival

Something to think about.

Repent Revival

17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” Mathew 4:17

I have repented. Yes, I’m still working on it. I am still in the process of receiving all that is associated with repentance. This commandment of Christ still haunts me. It rattles me to my core because it is still a valid call. There are those around me that have not repented. I am not talking about those in Hollywood or in politics or business. Nor any other group of people, I am talking about my brother, sisters, nieces, nephews in short my family. There is an entire world living all around me that have not repented that have not accepted Christ. I pray for revival in this country, state, and city. I need to start praying for revival in my family.  Is it possible that we have not seen a great revival in this country because we are praying for someone else? The next great revival needs to begin at home. The great field of harvest is not in some far away city or country. It is within our homes. With the people, we break bread with. With those that will no longer listen to our message. If they won’t listen how can we reach them? We need to pray for them. We need to stand in the gap for them. What that means is we need to chase after God on their behave. We need to cry out to God for their salvation. We need to get into the battle for their souls. They may not listen to us, but God has the resources to reach them He has the means to touch their hearts.

Have we given up on our families? Have we written them off as unreachable, unworthy, hopeless unforgivable? Have we become blase about their eternal destination. Have we accepted them as a lost cause? Have we turned them over to eternal death? If we are to see revival it needs to start at home. If we have written off our families do you really think we will care about the lost of the world? This is a call to action to pray for your family to begin a revival in your home.

Christianity is Not Free.

Something to think about.

Christianity is Not Free.

15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 1 John 4:15

There was a time not so long ago when making this statement was not offensive or at least threatening.  That period of time was an anomaly as Christians have been martyred for centuries. There are people being killed, imprisoned and tortured for believing “that Jesus is the Son of God.”  Our beliefs are being challenged in every arena of life not because they are wrong. But because they are true. The truth is not a barrier or an impenetrable wall of defense. It is a light in the darkness under assault from forces which are determined to snuff it out. If you are like me and believe that “Jesus is the Son of God” expect opposition. Currently, the opposition in the USA is in the form of ridicule and disrespect. As is happening now, we are being instructed to keep our mouths shut to speak of Christ in private quarters only. Unless there is a revival orchestrated by God. The next generation of Christians in this country will be the first to experience all-out persecution on our shores

Is This That Day?

Something to think about.

Is This That Day?

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5

These people have always existed, but they were few and far between. Can we change, it can we turn it around? Yes! We can if we return to God and put Him before everything else. We need a revival.

Revival

“Revival”

Joshua 10 :12-14

12 On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel:

Sun, stand still over Gibeon,

and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”

13 So the sun stood still,

and the moon stopped,

till the nation avenged itself on its enemies,

as it is written in the Book of Jashar.

The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.

14 There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being…

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Revival, I have had this word on my mind for the past few weeks not really knowing what to do about it.

I finally realized what I needed to do, I need to pray for it. But not just I, but every Christian In this country needs to start praying for revival.

Joshua spoke to God and the world stopped turning.

2 Chronicles 7:14

“If my people  who are called by my name”.   Are we his people? Are we called by his name?

“Will humble themselves.” Will we humble ourselves before God? “And turn from their wicked ways,”  Will we turn from our wicked ways? “then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”.

I know this was written for the Israelites.

It appears to me that this may have been written prophetically for us, now, today for such a time as this. God is not talking to the lost heathen, God is talking to me, God  is talking to you fellow Christian.

If we pray, if we repent, if we turn from our wicked ways will he not hear us today, now?  Will he not send a revival that can change the course of history?  That can change the course of America?

It will not be church leadership that will instigate this revival, it will be the sons and daughters of God. Not by political action, not by wealth or power, not by laws enacted by an immoral judiciary.  It will begin when we as children of God turn to our father and seek his face and plead for the lost of America.

We don’t need to wait  for leadership to get started, they will catch up in due time. We need to boldly go before the creator of time and ask him to send a revival. We need to seek his mercy for our country for our brothers and sisters, for our fathers and mothers. For the lost and deceived.

Fellow brother, fellow sister please pray for revival.

Send this to all who would pray. Lets start a revival!
